Life is transition, but some transitions are bigger than others. Around age 50, you start to get restless. What has been comfortable and familiar begins to feel stale. Maybe change happens to you, like getting downsized or watching your kids leave for college. Or maybe you get that if-not-now-when feeling deep inside. There's a business, a next career, a book, or a cause that call to you.  How ready are you to make a friend of transition, use this phase to experiment, try some new things, play, and discover what you want to do next?

As a transition coach, I work with people in the second half of life to help them move more smoothly through this important growing process.  I've successfully helped people get clear on what mattered to them and to take action based on that perspective.  People like these ...

Howard brings a great deal of business experience to the table in serving as a coach.  [His] wealth of experience, coupled with his insights and tempered with compassion, made him an ideal coach for me.  I would enthusiastically recommend Howard to anyone who is contemplating or facing a life transition.  Transitions can be frightening and intimidating, but with Howard's help I came to face my transition with excitement and great hope. -- Daniel Blaufus

Howard's coaching has had a huge impact on my life.  He started by helping me understand self-care and to put my career/job in perspective.  Through his coaching I was able to define what was in my best interest, what made me happy and that I do not have to tolerate those things that do not meet these needs.  With his help, I was able to muster the courage to leave a job that made me miserable without any regret.  I have learned through our work what I want from a career. Howard has given me the "tools" to know my self better, understand how to analyze what is best for me,  and have better balanced life."  --  Chris Nasser

Dear Howard: I confess that at first I was a little suspicious [of coaching].  You are not the first life-consultant that I have encountered, but you are the first that I have found helpful.  Indeed. "helpful" is far too weak a word to describe the effect your coaching has had on me.  Without it, I doubt I would have found the paths I have sought for so long, and which I am now following.  -- John I. Soulé
