Instant Coaching Program Available Free --And
Heads Up, Authors. Here's a Great, Viral Way to Sell Books
Take
a page from author and life coach Howard Stone’s clever
strategy. He and his wife Marika authored Too Young to
Retire: 101 Ways to Start the Rest of Your Life, (Plume/Penguin,
2004). It’s an easy-reading compendium of possibilities for
Boomers—chock full of resources and sage advice for anyone ready to
unwind and start living at age 50-plus. Now they’ve created a 6-week
or 12-week group-coaching program based on the book. Doesn’t sound
unique, does it? Here’s the twist: They’re giving the program guide
away free to coaches interested in attacting a 50-plus clientele.
The Stone’s just introduced this offer. Already one coach is hosting
a group in Portland, OR. Others are launching groups soon, says
Howard Stone. The guide encourages coaches to use their own coaching
style. It provides “chapter-by-chapter questions that stimulate
dialog.”
Win-win-win?
The Stones win because group
members need to buy their book. And if the strategy works, soon they’ll have
dozens of coaches promoting them as the Too Young to Retire experts
nationwide. Coaches win by gaining an instant program and a potentially
lucrative niche market—and don’t even have to pay a licensing fee. Clients
win because—well, they get a great book and a helpful coaching experience as
they renew their lives. The guide and information about the book are
available as a Word document. Interested? Email
