For over 20 years, Karen has worked in the career/ lifestyle and transitions arena. She has specialized in assisting individuals as they design the Retirement phase of their life. In the 90's she designed and facilitated Later Life Planning classes in educational and corporate settings.

Now she facilitates "Retirement as Opportunity" workshops, consults with individuals about retirement, career and lifestyle issues. She also teaches through the Continuing Education program at the U. of M., in Community Education and at the Learning Annex.

She was recently interviewed  on cable TV about 'meaningful retirement issues', was featured in an article in Women's Business MN magazine on her Retirement consulting practice, interviewed on FM radio.
